NQCC Quantum Computing Scalability Conference 2027

Building the Infrastructure for Scalable Quantum Technologies

Join Quantum Design UK & Ireland and Quantum Design Oxford at the NQCC Quantum Computing Scalability Conference 2027, bringing together expertise in cryogenics, low-temperature measurement, high magnetic fields and quantum device characterisation.

The conference, hosted by the National Quantum Computing Centre, brings together researchers, engineers and industry leaders tackling the practical challenges of scaling quantum computing – from qubit and gate performance and quantum control to scalable architectures and the engineering infrastructure needed to support increasingly complex quantum systems.

Talk to us about your quantum technology challenges

At the conference, our teams will be available to discuss the measurement and cryogenic technologies supporting quantum research and development.

For teams working on superconducting and spin qubits, Quantum Design Oxford’s Proteox® family of Cryofree® dilution refrigerators provides ultra-low-temperature environments for quantum device research. The range includes the compact ProteoxS, the modular ProteoxMX and the ProteoxLX, designed specifically for quantum computing scale-up.

For researchers thinking about the next stage of scaling, the ProteoxQX platform provides a large experimental workspace and modular architecture designed to accommodate increasing numbers of quantum devices and connections. Quantum Design Oxford has demonstrated linked ProteoxQX systems, providing a route towards significantly larger cryogenic capacity while retaining a modular approach to experimental development.

We can also discuss Lake Shore cryogenic measurement and temperature-control technologies, including solutions for integrating temperature measurement, control and electrical measurements into low-temperature experimental environments.

For researchers investigating quantum materials, superconductivity, quantum transport and low-dimensional systems, the TeslatronPT Plus combines low temperatures and high magnetic fields with an open-architecture measurement environment. Its integrated Lake Shore instrumentation and DECS control software are designed to simplify complex electrical transport experiments while providing flexible scripting, automation and data management.

From Device Characterisation to Scale-up

Whether you are developing quantum devices, investigating materials at millikelvin temperatures, characterising superconducting or spin-based systems, or considering how your cryogenic infrastructure needs to evolve as your research programme grows, we’d be pleased to talk.

Come and meet Quantum Design UK & Ireland and Quantum Design Oxford at the NQCC Quantum Computing Scalability Conference 2027.
